On Bigotry

Mine eyes hath seen the glory of the coming of the lord,
  but greater still mine eyes hath seen the storming bigots' horde.
They've expertise in many fields that they know nothing of,
  and they alone are arbiters of all that deals with love.
"Just what is love?" one might ask?
  "Whatever we decree."
"And what of hate?" another says,
  "On hate what is your creed?"
The bigot replies with a withering grin, smiling through his teeth:
  "The only people free to hate are people just like me.
